Residing at Abbeyfield
Our home has 12 main floor studio suites, each with a 2-pience bathroom, separate entrance, private patio and surrounded by beautiful gardens. You furnish your suite with your own belongings and maintain it as your home. The common areas include our welcoming living room, sunny dining room, cozy activity room, two tub/shower rooms and a common laundry room. All common areas and the exterior are maintained by Abbeyfield staff. The upper floor includes the House Coordinators private residence, our guest suite, two storage rooms and a small office. The guest suite is available to your out-of-town guests at a very reasonable rate and includes meals.
Meals Included
Fresh nutritious meals are prepared daily by our cooking staff while you prepare your own breakfast and snacks at your leisure in the community kitchen.
Sponsors
We ask each resident to designate one or two Sponsors - trusted relatives, friends or professional advisors who can be contacted in case of emergency or other difficulty and will take responsibility for the resident’s well-being.
House Coordinator
Abbeyfield House St Peters employs a live-in House Coordinator / cook to coordinate the smooth running of the household, plan and prepare meals and ensure building security. Abbeyfield staff are not required or have training to give medical care or home care.
Cost
Abbeyfield House St Peters is subsidized housing and provincial rental subsidy is available if you qualify. Please see the BC Housing website for additional information and guidelines for rental subsidy qualification.
